It's Pumpkin Time!!!
We’re going to talk Pumpkins. We couldn’t resist the Dragon’s Blood Bar for October so we’ve saved our next Soap of the Month – Pumpkin Spice Bar - for November.
However, I know how much you all want to know about all the goodness that will be packed into next month’s limited edition so this is for you...
Let’s start with Pumpkin Seed Oil. This incredible oil is absolutely jam packed with essential fatty acids that soothe, hydrate, moisturize; vitamins (A,B,E,K) and minerals (zinc especially) that improve skin tone by increasing firmness and cell turn over, thereby producing smoother glowing skin; PSO also minimizes free radical damage which prevents premature aging of the skin and reduces redness and inflammation.
As all of our Soap Bars may also be used as shampoo bars, you will appreciate knowing that PSO reduces the enzyme 5-alpha reductase which tends to slow and stop hair growth. PSO also hydrates the hair follicles, reduces dandruff and adds shine.
Our Pumpkin Spice Bar will also contain Horse Chestnut Botanical Extract which contains anti-inflammatory flavonoids and enzymes that reduce swelling (puffiness), increase circulation (which brings more oxygen to the surface of the skin, increasing a healthy glow) and tones and strengthens fragile surface capillaries. Japanese studies indicate that Horse Chestnut Extract is 20X more active at neutralizing superoxide anions (free radicals that age the skin) than L-ascorbic acid and inhibits as well if not better than Vitamin E. perioxidation (cell damage caused by oxidation of lipids).

Another delightful ingredient in this special soap is nutmeg powder and essential oil. Nutmeg is an ancient skin care ingredient. Because of its inherent antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties it clears acne and combats free radical damage thereby deterring premature aging of the skin. Nutmeg oil also discourages hair loss while encouraging hair health: volume, length and shine.
Be sure to keep our unique organic soaps in mind as gifts for the Holiday Season!
Blessed Be!
